The Spice Paprika Consortium from Szeged, lead by the company RUBIN KFT has placed the SPICE PAPRIKA FROM SZEGED under Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). The protection of origin and the belonging product description as well as the control system guarantee that the Spice Paprika from Szeged produced by the company Rubin Kft. will be the King of Spice Paprikas and the Spice Paprika of the Kings. The company Rubin Paprika Manufacturing Kft. operates in Szeged, which is the traditional centre of paprika production, looking back to a century old tradition in the area. The spice paprika from Szeged, with its specific flavour, has come into existence in this outstanding rural area, as a result of the production experience of generations. We achieve the disclosure of the colour and flavour of this excellent raw material with usage of traditional millstones built into modern technology production lines. International Tisza Fish Festival

In 2011, the 10th time has come that Rubin Ltd took part in the fish cooking competition organized in the bank of Tisza river. Our company represented one of the essential ingredient of "szögedi" fish soup, the "extra special" labeled hungarian paprika. As we do every year, in this season we also selected from the most tasty varieties of fishes to cook them in our kettle. Beside we flavoured our soup with the EU protected paprika from Szeged, we also tested our innovation on this traditional hungarian meal, the spice paprika seed oil. Sándor Frank a Venesz-winning chef was satisfied with the taste of it!
